This month what you need to know is about fueling for a long ride. With the RBC GranFondo fast approaching the focus is on what you need to remember to be ready. There are three key points to remember when fueling for long distance cycling. They are hydration, providing fuel for your muscles and recovery after the event or after a training ride. I get scared too

I get scared too… Have you been feeling intimidated by your goals? Maybe you signed up for an event that is getting closer and scarier by the day? So you put off the training – because denial is always easier – until the day comes when you have to put your foot on the line. Congratulations Keith! Keith has been training and eating right for his BIG fitness goal. Keith has been recovering from broken bones and a separated shoulder from a mountain biking crash two years ago and has successfully rehabilitated his upper body to keep his climbing goals a reality.
